How to use the loan calculator
Select the value you want to calculate, then fill in the remaining values. For example, a $100,000 loan at 12% annual interest over one year has an estimated monthly payment of $8,884.88 without an irregular first period.
How dates and interest work
Without dates, this calculator uses monthly interest at the annual rate divided by 12. With dates, the first period uses actual days divided by 365; subsequent periods use monthly interest. Due dates follow the first payment’s day, capped at month-end. A solved term rounds up to whole monthly payments; the final payment may be smaller.
These are estimates for fixed-rate loans. Fees, taxes and insurance are excluded. Calculations use unrounded values, so lender rounding and interest conventions may produce different results. Values are calculated in your browser and are not saved to a plan.
